The skiing area and health resort in Disentis is located in the upper region of the Surselva, where the Medelser Rhine and the Vorder Rhine meet.Disentis is considered to be the centre of the Rhaeto-Romanic language, and particularly of the Sursilvan dialect. Around Disentis there are over 150 km of walking tracks and 30 km of cross-country skiing trails.
The Disentis ski region is at 3000 metres and offers skiers of all levels 60 km of ski slopes assured of snow.
