Hotel Tor - Geneva, Switzerland 

Stayed here in a few different rooms. What seems to be common among them is that the floors are a bit squeeky. If you're a light sleeper, you will be hard pressed to find a reasonable priced quiet hotel. this is better then most hotels i've stayed in. a great location and for the most part the staff are quite friendly and spoke english very well. stayed in a room with a kitchen, which was a great bonus. rooms had dvd and lcd tvs with cable tv, which meant there were at least a few channels in english. would stay there again.

I stayed at Hotel Tor for one night. This hotel is only 5 mins walking from the train station so it's pretty convenient. For geneva standard, Hotel Tor is not expensive at all. I booked a double room and it was the right size, not too small. The front desk staff was also very friendly. One more thing I like about this hotel is, breakfast are served in your room. The front desk will ask if you want cereal, bread, and etc. You'll also be asked what time you want your breakfast to be served. One thing to be aware, if your room is on the street side, it can be noisy.
