A glorified B + B - without the glory!!!! This hotel took me back to staying in terrible 'hotels' in South Kensington in London in the 70s. Large old rambling buildings that needed complete refurbising. 2008 - the Trafford Hall Hotel is a large rambling building that needs complete refurbishing. Yes it is well located next to the Metro, and er....that's it. Very very disappointing and quite shocking that hotels like this still exist..Who stays here? Students, backpackers, construction workers? ?45 per night is not that expensive I know but you can do better than this... Large rooms, tired dated furnishing, an incoming calls only telephone (!)...a terrible breakfast room with..a terrible breakfast!!!Sticky carpets, chipped woodwork and hard towels. I asked for a wake up call to make sure I didnt miss my flight - completely ignored. One hotel I will 100% sure not be staying in again and hope you dont either!
