I’d like to think that I know a little about travel, hotel service and food after doing it for more than18 plus years through business and pleasure. With this in mind, I have to note is my first ever review and there are reasons for it! If you are looking for a place that is cheap to sleep in, then you won’t go wrong in choosing the Jurys Inn next to door to the Ramada encore (Milton Keynes). Reception is very welcoming at the Ramada and the rooms clean. Beds are basic but do the job after several Coronas or G&T’s, however if you are hungry then leave the premises…please take this as a warning unless you want to consume deep fat fried foot as a substitute. I’ve just spent the evening experiencing (for the second time) the worst level of service and food presentation I’ve ever experienced before. Firstly I spent the first 5-10 minutes waiting for service so I went to the bar from the restaurant to order my food and drink. After another 10-15 minutes the stuff (food substitute) arrived – Chicken, with mushroom and mashed potatoes. Mushroom, Chicken and Fried tomato turned up which I place on a napkin to help soak up the fat it was swimming in. I then grabbed another napkin from the other table and tried to drain the chicken (meat stuff) of its liquid which I can only best describe as grease, butter and/or water. Oh and the ‘potatoes’ were powered and that’s all I willing to say on the subject. 20minutes later I caught the passing manager and fed back my comments which he said would be taken away and reviewed to help improve future customer experience. As a final note I do have acknowledge the managers response to being positive as he cleared my room bill of my evening experience….but not my memory of the place which I will struggle to remove from memory – Enjoy your future stay….

Didn't like this place at all - the local area looked like Lego Land in Grey. The hotel was modern to the extent of sparce-the staffing appeared to be the same. The rooms were clean but basic & felt cold. Food was acceptable but nothing special. Stayed one night & would prefer not to have to stay for a second in the future. To make matters wors hotel car park opposite was out of bounds-we ended up parking off road in parking space & received a ?30.00 parking ticket....be very careful!
