The hotel staff was friendly and professional. The rooms were nice and clean. Free internet access is provided. However, I felt inconvenienced for the fact that microwaves and mini-fridges aren't provided (only icebuckets). I found out at the end of my stay that LOCAL CALLS COST $1.00 PER CALL, which is absolutely rediculous. There was nothing in the hotel contract or any information in the room was specified that there would be charges for local calls made. The area surrounding the hotel is heavily populated by trees, which could be used for additional parking because of the limited number of parking spaces in the back and front, plus the tightness of the spaces. Overall, I would recommended this hotel only if it's a quick one or two night stay.

This is a veteran hotel in a semi urban setting. The hotel feels urban even though it is in a more suburban setting. Towering high rises dwarf this 7 story hotel. The parking is tight as is the location. There is a park next door and the area is heavy tree'ed.I found the near by street acceptable to the morning and late night runner. It is a busy hotel and location but it works out nicely. The staff was efficient but a bit harried the day I checked in. The cliental was about 50% business. A couple of tourist in the mix as well though I don’t know why. It was not a scenic location more a functional one. Rooms were clean and on par with typical Holiday Inn Express fair. Not too biz friendly as the desk was small and the TV could not be seen from the desk. Also the desk chair was broken in my room and would not go up. Making typing emails will sitting in a short chair uncomfortable. I retired to the bed, not the desk option but it work. Also the have not placed the winter comforters in the rooms yet the thin blankets don’t cut it. Breakfast was the standard Holiday Inn express fare. This has been perfected across the chain. It actually a very good product. The standardization has made it run of the mill while in actuality it is very good. Verse what served for free breakfast just 5 years ago (coffee and doughnuts) So one should never complain. Had this hotel been in Downtown I would of raved about it. Given the suburban location you expect a bit more but it works.
