Posted: Jun 29, 2006 - Hervey - The check in service here was pretty efficient (considering the transfer time from the international airport to the city centre takes so long, efficiency is what you crave) and we upgraded to one of their deluxe rooms - I think they have 2 per floor - because we thought that the standard (superior? Anyhow, the room was fantastic with plenty of space and it overlooked the pool, which made for good people watching. Everything was spotless (sheets, towels, shower tray), just as you'd expect but the beds, at least to us, were incredibly hard. The 7-11 next door (on the left as you come out) was particularly convenient for water/Coke/crisps/beer and the staff were also really nice and helpful. The buffet breakfast was excellent and there were loads of choices - one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had, in fact. The breakfast and service made up for the beds!. Read review
