After a bad stay in a penang hotel last weekend, I was happy to have stayed in this hotel again for a weekend 1night stay booked directly via the hotel and was amazed how well they have kept the condition of the room and overall the service was good. I paid the promo price for a Imperial Deluxe room without breakfast but with 24hour internet acess! Yes they internet access is 24 hours for each day you stay in the hotel! This hotel is right in town and is walking dsitance to a few good shopping complex with good food courts as well as good shopping. It is also near some good local Indian food reasoanbly priced! I recommend a stay in this hotel for it's good service and clean & ample room based on stay in a non smoking room on a non smoking floor! And yes the fridge items are complimentary! Will be on my top list if I'm ever in town again!

went there for a business trip and found this hotel was previously pan pacific. check in and etc is jus normal and everything is charged although the room charge is quite expensive. no breakfast, no broadband and everything is charged except the drinks in the minibar (imitation of cola and etc). location is not tat good.......it can be quite dark at night and snatch thieves are a lot too. nearby there is a departmental stores and a lot of indian food. unless you work nearby or anything, no point of staying there cos it was from everything but it is nearby the causeway.
