H10 Hacienda Maya (All Inclusive Resort) - Playa del Carmen, Mexico 

Our stay at the Hacienda Maya was our first trip to Mexico, when we arrived we waited to check in, our room was not ready for a few hours. Throughout our stay the staff was great we enjoyed the food, the service and the entertainment. The staff was always friendly and the rooms and the restaurants were kept clean. Shopping in Playa del Carmen was a good time, lots to see.The biggest disapointment of the entire trip was the "tour" we paid for. Rudy sold us a tour that would allow us to go parasailing, snorkeling, swimming witha shark, sail over to Cozumel do some shopping and have dinner there. They told us right off the bat it was to windy to go snorkeling, so we sailed over to Cozumel on a small crowded boat. By the time we got there half the people were drunk, we ate and did a bit of shopping, we passed by the "shark" that one person "swam" with. (Not what we had in mind when they said shark). Then we sailed back much too slowly, as the "captain" pushed alcohol on people nobody said a word about parasailing. The next day we went to talk to Rudy about the "tour" and he didn't know what to do. We didn't want for this to ruin our trip so we tried to forget it. The rest of our stay was still very good we met lots of people and got to know some of the staff. Our flight home was delayed for twelve hour so we got bused to another resort, and it was a bigger fancier place but it didn't really feel like Mexico it felt more like a large city and more like a hotel setting with lots of noise traveling through the hallways. It was here that we realized how nice the setup was at our resort. The suits were not in one large building but rather 8 suites in each, noise was never a problem. I would definitly go back, we learned a lot from the experience.
