my wife and i went on our honeymoon here, the cocoon picked us up in style and gave us a lovely ride over from the playa. were immediatly taken to check-in by our own concierge. i had always dreamed of a place like this, because casa rolandi is my favorite restuarant in the world. combine an exemplery hotel with my favorite restuarant and i will be in heaven. the rooms are beautiful and spacious. each with their own jacuzzi and steamroom shower. the staff knew us by name and were very genuinely concerned that our stay go well. it went superb. we will be going back.the wall are insulated so noise is at a bare minimum, so dont be afraid to let loose. thanks X,X for taking such good care of us on the beach.

Eight Times Not Enough

Last Sept. marked our eighth vacation at Villa Rolandi and we are returning in May. This hotel is World Class....small, friendly, classy, with impeccable service, attention to detail, and 5 Star food, all in a warm, romantic, "tranquilo" setting. Every room's view is spectacular by day, magical by night. It is light years from the glitz, glitter, discos, and Miami atmosphere of Cancun. Your slice of Paradise Island .... begins as you arrive by yacht and the most difficult thing will be leaving. Enjoy!

I arrived late because of my flight. When I got to the pier they called Villa Rolondi and they came within the hour to pick me up. The room was lovley, beach small but very nice, food good and service excellent. Taxi's were plentiful and safe. One driver even waited for me while I took a tour of the turtle farm and only charged me for the actual driving time. All in all it was a great time. I got reccomondations on where to eat down town, they were vary good. I was a 50 year old woman traveling alone. I never felt unsafe even though I went to town by myself several times. It is a good place if you want to relax and rest. Slow pace, not much to do although there are tours the hotel can arrange for you. The breakfast and either lunch OR dinner was included. Drinks were not and there is a $10-day maid fee. Be sure to take tip money, that is expected for services. A nice feature was the "breakfast box" it was a hole in the wall with a cabinet that opened from the outside of the room and inside also. They would deliver your breakfast in the box and you just open it up and take out the tray. It was always there exactly at the time you request.
