Posted: Jan 25, 2011 - After reading all the reviews, We decided to ask for a beachfront view, but were initially offered a lagoon view room. It came equipped with it's own kitchen and large dining area, although we didn't use it much. Just like going into a nice club and getting VIP treatment. Look good, be nice, show confidence and stop whining about the people at the front desk. Don't grab it and you'll find yourself planted face-first at the rear window of the bus! The breakfast is the beast and the burgers at lunch are good. They even had someone scrubbing the outside front driveway of the hotel with a brush and water, only to be followed up by a mop.. Posted: Apr 14, 2005 - JTinCO - Our choice was based primarily on economics, hotel location, amenities and overall good reviews of previous guests. From the time we arrived at the hotel, we were innundated with exemplary service. The Bell Captain had our luggage unloaded before we were out of our transfer van. When we arrived at our room, we found it was not ocean front as we'd requested and paid for. I went back down to the front desk and promptly received an apology and a new ocean front room. The room was immaculate and contained a personally addressed welcome letter, bottle of wine and a fruit basket. Staff seemed to be continually cleaning something. Every staff member we passed in every hall greeted us with a smile and a "hola". We found the food and restaurant staff to be wonderful.. Read review
Posted: Jan 04, 2006 - Limapacecop - I will say that we were so lucky at the airport at arrival. We would have stayed at the activities pool the whole time, but if you were not there at least by 10-11, it was sometimes hard to find chairs. Lunch, well, good, but I am a grilled chicken salad lunch eater, so there. Dinner, one night we ate at the Seafood a la carte and it was very good and very good service. We also ate at the Mexican a la carte which was also very good and fun service! I believe the manager was Rafael and he was so nice!. Read review
