Firstly let me say this holiday was so brilliant. Where do I start? Firstly the hotel, the rooms were all spotless, cleaned rigorously everyday and the staff were so friendly. Even the balcony was swept and our lilos stood up. Now the buffet restaurant, I went half board which is better than all inclusive as when your all inclusive I found you still have to pay for everything, just half price on drinks. There was always plenty of food for everyone from pasta, bread, pork, beef, burgers, chicken, fish, lots of veg and salads, canneloni, lasagne etc in the evenings with wonderful desserts. At breakfast there was very english breakfast with bacon, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, tomatoes, toast, cheese etc and cold like cereals, yoghurts, bread, fruit and melons etc. Lots of choice! I sampled the swimming pool on a number of occasions and was nice, however people queue up for sunbeds an hour befor the pool opens and then don't come back till the afternoon... mainly Germans. So you either nedd to be up early or cheeky enough to move the towels. I didnt try the indoor pool as it was closed when we got there for summer but it looked nice. The bar staff in evening were all very nice and the entertainment was fab, i read reviews saying it was bad sometimes, but it was brilliant. Lots of outside acts, magicians, acrobats, mamma mia tributes. All fantastic!!! Basically the hotel is brilliant so nothing to worry about. Best time for dinner is 7 sharp, and breakfast anytime. Now about the beach: It was fairly crowded but if you got there early about 8 then you can get a spot. Really clean, clear water, fish so good for snorkelling. Thre is a regular boat, scuba diving and pedalos. Pedalos with slide are 12 euros an hour, so much fun! Great little coves all around. The cove is literally 10 metres from the hotel, and is great. All food around is well priced a big pizza is only 7 euros in most places, and puddings are four euros. Very good staff again everywhere in cala dor. Marina about 15 minutes walk away you should check out, it is very nice. Basically everything about this hotel and area was fantastic, I woud definetley go again, and this time go scuba diving!!! It was such a great holiday and really reccommend it....

This hotel is a good hotel for the money and right on the beach. The hotel and rooms are kept very clean and the food was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool area can get a bit busy but there are also free sunbeds on the terrace overlooking the beach. The evening entertainment was variable but on a par with other similar hotels I have stayed in. If it is not to your liking the town centre is only a short stroll away.... try heading for the Hollywood bar for an evening of karaoke, or some of the other bars that have live bands. To summarize: a good hotel in a lovely location that I would gladly return to.
