There weren't many rooms but it was nice and quiet even though it was on a main road. My second time in Riga (first in the Karavella Hotel which cost twice as much but this hotel was millions better! Although it wasn't as central as I would've liked, it wasn't too far to the centre and the way was lined with shops (paradise! The room was lovely decor and was quite big and the bathroom was fantastic. Breakfast was great although the coffee was strong!. Read review

The hotel Enkurs is quite a small hotel but the rooms are well maintained and kept clean. I stayed in the cheapest available room which was at the top of the hotel. Price considered it was good value, the room itself was quite small but big enough for two of us to live in for 3 nights. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked so thats good enough for me with most hotels. Breakfast area was pretty small but not too small to move around in but importantly the choice was good for such a small place and the food that was made to order was really nice (most noteably the omlettes). The location of the hotel is good for sightseeing as its only about a ten minute walk to the old town. There is also regular bus service from outside the hotel and its really cheap (about 0. The staff were friendly and spoke English very well.. Read review

This is the filthiest "hotel" we have ever stayed at.The bathroom was dreadful. The toilet brushes was full of old toilet paper and s.....The fittings on the sink and the shower hadn't been washed for a very loooong time- old soap had made some parts of the wall pink and black fungus/mould was all around the bottom of the shower.
We had to buy soap for bathrooms so we could wash the toilet before using it.
They better hire someone who knows how to use a cloth with soap and water!
The woman who prepaired the food was very unfriendly. Acted as she was boss in the kitchen, never asked us if we wanted to have coffee, never said anything while she poored the coffee, was angry when we took our coffee self. She did not know that I speak Russian, so I understood all she said
