I have stayed in worse hotels in the UK and paid more, the staff where helpful and friendly, especially the blonde receptionist, the room was large but bathroom small, could have pinched a few feet from the main room with ease, we faced the dock and rail yard, someone complained about shunting noise, we didn't hear anything really. The hotel was good for the country, noise wise well it's a city not the quietest of places, no drunks for me, didn’t use the hotel restaurant never do, bar was ok and breakfast was different but nice, about a 20 min walk into old city, problem seems to be some sites are selling this hotel as close to town center, opposite Opera house and close to a tube station!. Some of the local area did not look the best and the hotel was good for the country. The price was excellent and the shower its self had a very simple two tap mixer. Bar staff were lovely and towels were clean. The breakfast was well-replenished.
