I thought this little hotel was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the decor was fresh and clean, the rooms were spotless and the antiques dotted about gave the place a feel far above it's two star rating. The room we had was very large by Parisian standards as was the bathroom, and the only complaint we have is the location of our room at the bottom of the staircase meant we could hear people coming and going. It wasn't a major problem, but some people do have zero consideration for others late at night. The breakfast was simple but tasty and served in a bright room overlooking a small courtyard. The location is great, in a quiet suburb with a very French feel to it but close to two metro stops. Several restaurants are close by as are shops, and if you are feeling energetic and the weather is okay, it's actually not too far to walk to places such as the Eiffel Tower.
I would definitely stay here again.

Boileau is a great choice if you don't mind having to take the metro to central Paris (15mins). It is within zone 1, so staying there doesn't add to the ticket price. The closest station is Exelmans, but it is also only 5mins from Porte St Cloud, where you have supermarkets, bakeries, take-aways etc (food market at weekends).
It is a 2star hotel and compared to others in that category in Paris, the best one I have tried. Rooms are clean and small, the decor is well-coordinated - windows are big and so is the bathroom. You will find a desk, wardrobe, suitcase rack, hairdryer, bidet and flatscreen tv.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
On the downside, the hotel is not very accessible (no ramp, no lift, carpets in corridor). My room smelled of smoke even though I aired it every day and a kettle would have been good.
I paid 70?/night for a twin room, using the website booking.com.
