One of the best compliments you can give a hotel is probably that the real thing is as good as it looks on the website pictures. And Apia is! Spacious, cosy and spotless rooms with comfortable beds. Our bathroom was also very spacious, but I think that may vary. It was as spotless as the room and well equipped. Add reasonable room prices, a very helpful and friendly staff, nicely decorated public areas and an adequate (but far from abundant) breakfast, and the hotel already should be your choice in Vilnius. But the one thing that makes it stand out is the location. Directly in the center of Vilnius' major attraction: The old town. Unless you plan to go out of town, you won't have to think about transportation. Everything is within comfortable walking distance. I wouldn't just consider staying there if I return to Vilnius, i would actually prefer it!

We had three rooms: one for my husband, seven year old son and myself, one for my parents, and one for my sister-in-law, her husband and two year old daughter. We were all happy with our rooms, especially the newly renovated bathrooms. Our room even had a balcony overlooking the street and they even made up an extra bed for our son. The hotel is just lovely and within the historic downtown. My sister-in-law who has lived in Lithuania for 5 years said it was the nicest hotel she's ever been in in the country. Recommended!
