Hotel Europa - Verona, Italy 

Die Lage ist ganz toll, das grosse Problem ist aber die Garage! Anfahrt durch die Fussgängerzone, danach wird der Wagen durch einen Chauffeur in der (engen) Garage geparkt. Sich UNBEDINGT den Zustand des Wagens VOR der Einfahrt bestätigen lassen und VOR der Abfahrt kontrollieren, wir hatten einen Parkschaden von FR. 800.- und das Hotel distanzierte sich davon! Der Chauffeur war sehr dienstbeflissen und verlud unser Gepäck, deshalb bemerkten wir die riesige Schramme von 10x20cm erst bei einem Rast in der Schweiz. Die Raucherzimmer haben einen Ausblick auf die 2m entfernte Mauer des Nachbargebäudes, dies hält allerdings im Sommer das Zimmer kühl. Die Zimmer waren klein aber sauber und das Frühstücksbuffet eher mässig.

The previous reviews are correct..this is an excellent location. However, I would not stay there again nor would I recommend it to anyone. The rooms are clean and okay in size but needing some updating, the air conditioning great as stated previously, and the breakfast good but it was not worth the price to me. A big reason for that is that the staff makes you feel like you are interrupting them at all times. I never felt welcome there ..ever. I stayed there for 3 nights. You would not want to take a car there either as we had to drive thru two outdoor cafes to get to the hotel. At that point, the staff takes the car out of your hands and retreives it when you want, but it is difficult to maneuver between the people. With the location of this hotel, it could be really great with a little updating and a new staff.
