Trieste - Verona, Italy 

Walked into this hotel on a fluke, after trying to get a room at Verona Hotel (2 doors down). When I walked in I thought the hotel looked out of our budget -- but they were actually less expensive than the Verona Hotel (at least on that date). They quoted me 89 euros for a double room and after I parked my car in their lot (right under the hotel) I came up to get my key and they informed me they had upgraded me to a superior room !! The entire hotel hotel looks as if it has been renovated recently. The superior room was lovely, with a great bed, high quality sheets and a marble bathroom with shower and brand new carpet. It is located on a busy street -- but has wooden door shutters (out to a balcony in our case) that block the noise effectively. The seating areas downstairs were lovely -- like a design hotel. They even had free wi-fi access (from the first floor seating areas). I did try the wi-fi in my room - but too weak there. The included breakfast was also quite nice. Overall, great value for money. I did look in on a regular double room and it was tiled instead of carpeted. Couldn't see the bathrooms to see if they had been updated. I would highly recommend this hotel. Short walk to the arena and all the sights of Verona.

Che squallore quest'hotel. Camera enorme ma inutilmente grande perchè abbastanza spoglia e tetra(fortunatamente non sporca),colazione minima anzi se nn ti svegliavi all'alba non trovavi niente da mangiare ma solo da bere, ma posizione centralissima e personale alla reception davvero squisito. Consiglierei a questi gentilissimi ragazzi di cambiare hotel per lavorare:ne perdono in immagine!
