This hotel is a real palace. It should be regarded and rated as one of the best hotels in the world. You can't beat it at the price that we paid.I prefer it over hotel D'Paris, another true palace hotel in Monte Carlo.
I cant praise this place enough. This is a historic building and even if you aren't privelaged enough to stay in the triple height, fresco ceilinged, grand canal viewed rooms you can still enjoy the splendour of this ancient jewel during breakfast or even just while checking in, the whole building oozes history, art and romance. Expensive but a a real treat. Only 10mins from SanMarco and boat stop right outside. Defintely visit the market on the opposite side of the canal and the gorgeous low key italian eaterie called Vini da Gigio nearby, best italian I've ever had.

My husband and I booked a 3 night package at this beautiful palazzo comme hotel/museum through luxurylink as the finale to an 11 day tour through Italy in June. By the end of our stay, we were in love with Venice, and felt we could not have picked a better hotel. Our suite was absolutely beautiful and plush with a bedroom, 2 sitting rooms, and a marble bathroom. Aside from the beauty of the hotel, the staff was accomodating to a fault, and the included breakfast provided variety and was an enjoyable way to begin the day. Ca Sagredo is in a wonderful location right at the Ca d'Oro vaporetto stop and conviently located midway on the grand canal. I would not hesitate to return for the staff, the location, and sheer beauty.
