The apartments are elegant, spacious and ideally positioned between San Marco and Rialto. It was nice to have the option to either dine in or dine out. There is a fairly priced supermarket just around the corner.

The apartment was in a good location and was clean and nice. There were two major problems. Even after calling in advance we had to wait for 40 minutes for someone to show up with keys. The person answering the phone does not understand English and emails are answered after 5-6 days. Second I had asked for two double rooms, no sofabeds and an email confirmed that. The second ebdroom turned out to be a joke with two pullout beds squeezed into a tiny room with no space for anything else. for 4 people this was inconvenient.

The only slight hitch was that we reserved the room through Venere.com using a VISA card and that apartment folks accepted only Mastercard. We paid in cash after a trip to the bancomat but it could be an issue for longer stays.
