Just returned from Venice and a 3 day stay at Al Codega. The hotel is excellently located close to San Marco and is in a very quiet courtyard. The property itself is spotless and is fairly newly opened - just a couple of years. We had the junior suite which gave us extra room - in fact a twin bed was in there which could have been used for a child or a very good friend! The amenities of the room were very hi tech and modern - eg. the tv was hidden behind a mirror. the bathroom was beautiful with granite floor and counter top. The staff were very helpful at all times. We, too, were perpetually lost, the Armani store is another landmark to look for They tell us being lost is part of the charm of Venice!! We consider ourselves very lucky to have stumbled upon the Al Codega.
