Travel information
On Foot:
From Piazzale Roma:
- Walk along Rialto San Marco to campo dei Frari (5 minutes), continuing to campo San Toma (2 minutes).
- Turn left to Carlo Goldoni's house (famous Venetian comedy writer).
- From there walk for 100 meters.
From the railway station:
- Cross the Grand Canal over Scalzi bridge,
- Follow the direction of Rialto San Marco to campo dei Frari (5 minutes),
- Continue following direction of Rialto San Marco to campo San Toma (2 minutes).
- Turn on the left to Carlo Goldoni's house (famous Venetian comedy writer).
- From there walk for 100 meters.
By Boat:
From Piazzale Roma:
- Take public boat n. 1 (it runs every 10 minutes and is slow, but you have time to admire the palaces along the most famous waterway in the world) or n.82 (it runs any 20 minutes and is faster), to San Toma water bus stop,
- Turn right following direction Rialto San Marco.
Altogether the journey will take approximately half an hour.

- Take a private water taxi and let the pilot phone the hotel in order to let staff explain a suitable place to moor.
