Hotel is quite small, but interior of the room very beautiful. Staff quite friendly and helpful. No elevator but the reception lady helped us carry the luggage to the top floor. Room was clean and spacious for two people. Impressed with the quality of the furnishings of the superior room; wall paper, curtains, bed sheets, bathroom - all very stylish. We actually booked a standard double room for 100 euro for one night, but was upgraded to the superior room without extra charge (was informed of this upon arrival. perhaps they didnt have any standard rooms left because we booked at short notice).
Overall very happy with the stay. The most beautiful hotel we encountered in our 1 month travel around europe (staying mostly in 2-3 star hotels). Location is excellent - in the street right next to the train station. Public transport in venice is very confusing esp for first time goers, so I'd recommennd this hotel esp for those people. It's not in the main touristy area but it's better to leave your luggage somewhere close to the station, rather than dragging it into the alleys or up and down the steps to cross bridges. Boats can get very crowded so I would hate to have to carry luggage on them myself.
We would stay there again next time in Venice.
If have to say one thing bad about it, its the very small breakfast room. Also the fruit served was canned. But other than that, they give you plenty of cereals, bread, jam, tea and coffee.
The accessibility of the hotel is priceless. This was not my first visit and i arrived late at night so i knew i should avoid wandering the streets and dragging my luggage over the bridges. Even if it is your first time in Venice, whether arriving by train or by bus, with the given map you'll find the hotel instantly. English speaking, helpful staff, all the rest as indicated on the web. Excellent quality for price given. Would stay there again.
Famille Puchois.
Excellent hospitality. The continental breakfast was great. The location was excellent, a quick walk from the train station once we figured out where the street was. :)
