Hotel was in a fabulous location, steps away from the train station! Hotel is small....all the hotels in Italy are small, get used to it! The hotel staff was helpful and polite. Breakfast room was VERY crowded, and some mornings you may have to wait a 1/2 before even being seated. Not really worth the wait, unless you absolutely need something to eat. But otherwise loved the hotel and loved venice.

This is a really small hotel. No lifts so you have to lug all your luggage up flights of stairs, depending on which level your room is located in. In this case, we were fortunate to be given a room one level up from the groun level. The decor of the room was old and blend. The loghts are dim and the room was small. We had very little space to place our luggages. The bathroom, however, was brighter and had more colour than the room. It was clean but the shower area, was once again small, as it always is in Europe. This hotel can be easily located from the main train station. The water taxis and bus (they are actually boats) are very close to this hotel as well.
