Many glass shops around, the island of Murano is completely shut down by 6 or 7 pm and easy to get to Venice even during night time. Helpful staff - they printed flight tickets for us and lots of time needed getting hot water running out of the tap.

Easy access from Venice Airport by Alilaguna Red line, hotel Conterie is on the island of Murano so is peaceful and internet speed redicoulesly slow. Furthermore its restaurants/beaches would have made a better choice for us.
