Palazzo Abadessa details: Palazzo Abadessa is a refined Venetian, relays, of the 1500's situated in the heart of the city in a very characteristic zone near Ca D'Oro. The palace has frescoed ceilings, authentic antique furniture, precious silk fabrics and important paintings of Plama il Giovane and the Tintoretto school. Sumptuous lounge and refined breakfast rooms that, during the warmer season, it is served in the splendid private garden. The palace overlooks the canal S. Sofia and has a private docking place.

.Palazzo Abadessa is a refined Venetian relais , recognised as a "Period Palace" by the Provincial Authorities and the Monuments and Fine Arts Office of Venice.. The building dates back to the late 1500's and it has been residence of doge Priuli family.
Guests are welcomed into the atrium with marble flooring, a painted ceiling and polychrome windows with leaded glass that look out onto the canal, where the hotel's private docking place is situated. On the opposite side there is a magnificent “embracing” type staircase, that leads to the first floor of the building.
The delicious sweet and savoury buffet breakfast is served in the refined breakfast rooms and during the warmer season it is served in the splendid garden which is privately owned. The garden is one of the “hidden treasures” of this welcoming Venetian relais: secular trees, multi-coloured, scented flowers and marble benches on which to relax and read a good book.
Each and every detail transmits the sensation of stepping back in time, to the era of the glory and splendour of the Marine Republic.

What a wonderful experience !!!!!!!!! Darwin , Guiseppe, Rolly, and Stefano were so professional during our stay. Our room was so charming and immaculate. The gardens were beautiful, and it was so peaceful sitting with my family in the morning enjoying a delicious breakfast. My teenage son fell in love with this charming palace. So convenient to use water ferry or simply walk 10 minutes to St Mark's square. We definitely will return to your hotel!!!! Thanks for arranging private tour of Murano and making reservations at Algiubagio.

We visited to celabrate my husbands 60th birthday and everything was wonderful. the hotel staff are fabulous and do take advantage of their knowledge about restaurants-the one meal that we had without their recommendation was the worst! tea, cocktails etc in the garden all perfect. We had room 11-very pretty overlooking the canal.
