4.6Perfect quaint clean reasonably priced little hotel 4 minutes away from St. Marks square, San Marco Giardinetti Vaporetto Bus Station.
Very close to the pier, elegant brand name shopping stores, & the crowds, but still tucked away in a quiet square away from hoards of walking tourists.
We realized at the end of our stay that there is a quicker way to get to the hotel after you cross the bridge from the San Moise Church side.
After crossing the bridge, look left and see Hotel Violino D'Oro. There is a large open archway to the left of this hotel's entrance doors. It is probably a minute faster to Hotel Anastasia if you walk through this archway, get to the end of it, and turn right, then the next left, then the next right, and voila Hotel Anastasia is immediately beside you on your right handside.
If you don't go through the archway, you end up walking down the street to the right of Hotel Violino D'Oro and winding around a few more buildings before getting to the hotel.
We had a nice small courtyard view, we stayed in Room 102. If we peaked our head out the window to the left, we could see between 2 buildings a small canal about 25ft away.
Great complimentary strong flavorful coffee and perfect light breakfast at the hotel.
