Staff were very friendly and helpful. The three different front desk staff we met all spoke excellent English and were very helpful with providing information on the city, public transports, nearby restaurants, etc. Overall, very helpful and friendly. Only downside was our room which was absolutely tiny!
Excellent location. Very congenial staff. Great breakfast.
If you want a great inexpensive meal, stay right there in Canneragio. The further you go towards St. Mark's Square, the more expensive it will get.
Though there is indicated in the website: free internet access, there is no possibility.
The beds (we had 2 rooms ) are catastrophically for older persons.because one is forced to lie in the middle of the bed (useful for young people in love).
Easily accessible from the train station with our luggage. Room was spacious and clean, new bathroom fixtures. Nice breakfast. We were able to drop off our luggage before the room was available. Flight of stairs to the reception and breakfast rooms. Would definitely stay here again in the future!
We have just arrived back from venice last night, it was a suprise present that my mother in law had bought me for my 40th birthday and she looked after the kids for us.
When we arrived at the hotel we loved the locaction as it was right in the middle of the shops and bars. But thats were it ends really.
First of all we nearly broke our necks everytime we went in or out of the hotel as the stairs were so steep, the hotel room as everyone says was immaculate but we stayed in room 21 which was next to the reception so was a bit noisey in the early hours when people were collecting their keys also it had holes in the uneven floor, holes in the door and the air conditioniner didnt work and the veiw was straight in to someone elses house so everytime we opened our window she made a point of slamming her door. We did ask the boy in reception if we could move rooms he started twitching violently and said no, We called him Norman Bates after that and giggled everytime we saw him.
I dont no what the hotels are like in Venice but what i didnt like about this hotel was after we had walked round all day it would have been nice to have a glass of wine and to chill out for a bit but in our room it was tiny and dark and had no view whats so ever,so all we could do really was quickly get changed and straight out again till bedtime.
All in all the staff were nice, the location was good but the room was awful and we only had breakfast once because the breakfast room was very cramped so we prefered to eat in a little cafe on our way somewhere.
