"A pleasant surprise"Posted: Mon, Nov 23 2009Value:
3My two female college friends and I booked this hotel at the last minute at the train station in Venice. We paid 30 Euro per person, and it was a good value, especially in comparison to other prices and accomodations we encountered on this trip. There is a water taxi station right in front and it is only a short and quaint walk from the train station. There was luggage storage for us before checkin and after checkout. The room was a cute little loft with a large walkout balcony. There was good temperature control, hot shower with good pressure, and it was clean. It was in a quiet location for sleeping. The best part was the decor which consisted of ornate painted details on the trim and furniture and beautiful Murano Glass fixtures. The breakfast was great with several breads, jams, cheeses, fruits, cereals, juices, cold milk, hot chocolate, and more. The attendants spoke sufficient English and were friendly as well. We had an excellent stay.
