4.6The hotel is easy to find, even in the dark, being only 2 minutes' walk from the station. All the receptionists were helpful and exceptionally friendly. The rooms which share a bathroom are in the building next door to the main hotel, which means heading down an alley that ends in the Grand Canal - all adding to the Venetian charm. The bathrooms are clean, if a little past their best; the room was big and clean, and looked out onto the street, which certainly sustained the impression of being at the heart of things.
Breakfast is not included in the price, and is definitely not worth paying for.
A hint for first-timers in Venice - you need to buy a vaporetto season ticket to cover your stay.It might look expensive, but single fares cost €6.50, and you'll be surprised at how many rides you need to take during a day.
We had a great time, and would certainly recommend the Adua for its price, convenience and for the welcome given by the staff.
