Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms to the front (street) are noisy, rooms to the back / side quiet.

The hotel is easy to find, even in the dark, being only 2 minutes' walk from the station. All the receptionists were helpful and exceptionally friendly. The rooms which share a bathroom are in the building next door to the main hotel, which means heading down an alley that ends in the Grand Canal - all adding to the Venetian charm. The bathrooms are clean, if a little past their best; the room was big and clean, and looked out onto the street, which certainly sustained the impression of being at the heart of things. Breakfast is not included in the price, and is definitely not worth paying for. A hint for first-timers in Venice - you need to buy a vaporetto season ticket to cover your stay.It might look expensive, but single fares cost €6.50, and you'll be surprised at how many rides you need to take during a day. We had a great time, and would certainly recommend the Adua for its price, convenience and for the welcome given by the staff.

Good for traveling students but not great for families. Friendly staff and good location. The hotel is right next to the train station so you can get to Venice and go to your hotel. It is also right next to the taxi/ bus boats so you can get to the good sites really fast. However the rooms are small and if you can't carry your luggage up to second floor from a very tight stairs, then you might want to look elsewhere. Also, for the cheap price you see you should also have low expectations. This hotel is more like a American motel.

Excellent central location near the train station. Rooms were very, very small but clean and comfortable. Shared bathroom facilities were small but adequate. I would recommend this hotel for short stays only, as I expect the cramped space would become frustrating after a while. Apart from that, very good value for money.
