The location is unbelievable, you can have breakfast or a drink in the evening right in front of the rialto bridge. We saw 4 of the only 9 rooms, they are all beautiful but you should take one with view to the canale grande. The special thing in this small, cosy and luxuary hotel is the service.. Read review

We had a vast room (Junior Suite) overlooking the Grand Canal; marvellous fabrics, Venetian glass chandelier, a pleasant seating area with large sofa and chairs, a desk supplied with beautiful note paper, an extremely comfortable and expansive bed, adequate bathroom with shower and WC, nice little touches, such as an antique telephone by the bed. The staff could not have been more obliging and pleasant. We had tea brought to our room both first thing in the morning and when we came in in the afternoon: it came on a silver tray with elegant cups and napkins. Italians do not make much of breakfast as a rule, but the fresh rolls and pastries with orange juice and excellent coffee in the lovely hallway on the piano nobile with the cassetted wooden ceiling made a very good start to the day. Good value hotel for this kind of quality and service.. Read review

Too expensive to be a Holiday Inn but definitely not nice enough to permit the $450+/night room cost (jr. Not a quiet, pretty, or relaxing sight at all.. Read review

We're not sure whether it was the backpack my friend had, our age, or our Aussie charm, but we ended up with a double room, breakfast included, for 70 euros per night! No canal view but fantastic location, lovely service and great room/bathroom. Although anyone taller could happily soak themselves in a spa bath instead, and the ceiling in the bedroom was twice the height with the chandelier that others have mentioned.. Read review

The hotel has also a private dock for water taxis, so if you are arriving at Marco Polo Venice Airport, the easiest and most comfortable way to reach us is to take a taxi from there. We are located close to Rialto Bridge, between the Post Office ( Poste ) and the Police ( Guardia di finanza ). If you will have any kind of problem, ask the taxi driver to call us. If you are coming by train or car, you can take the boat ( vaporetto ) n° 82 from the railway station or from where you are going to leave your car ( car park is near the bus station " Piazzale Roma " ) until Rialto Bridge and then you have to ask for " Coin " clothes shop. We are at 10mt from it: you will see a pastry shop and in front of it, on your left end-side, a narrow lane ( " Calle dell' Aseo " ) with a shoes shop and pasta shop at the two corners. We are at the end of this lane.

We could not have been made to feel more welcome by Mateo (the owner) and his friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them and the restaurants that they recommended and booked for us were all excellent. The location of the hotel overlooking the Grand Canal provides a marvellous setting for breakfast and evening drinks. Unquestionably, we would return.
