Loved the hotel san gallo in st. mark's square...You do have to go up stairs of a building to get to the hotel..one flight of stairs. Very good service at the front desk..the room was very pretty and clean..Had a musty smell, but it was clean...Bring a candle, thats all...IT has the best location you can get..Breakfast was continental-good enough..Offers Free Internet service... Bed was very comfortable..Bathroom was nice...Very nice venetian decor. Definitely Recommend!!

Family of four, quadruple room. Stayed for one night only, and met every need we had for this purpose. Air conditioning was very welcome since the outside temperature was very high. They also very kindly let us store our luggage past our check-out time so that we could enjoy the city until late afternoon without dragging our luggage around. Breakfast was not luxurious but quite ok.
