It was very hard to find the hotel at night arrival. Even when we found the building, then we couldn't find the entrance. The building is a palace from 1484 but ill repair in entrance floor and floor of our bedroom. Needs repairs. There were a lot of stairs to climb with and without luggage which would make it challenging for older people or those with physical limitations.

Lovely hotel with perfect position. Room 101 is to die for with brilliant view over the square. Very good value for money. The experience was only spoiled for me by the large number of stairs. Someone came down and opened the door for us but made no attempt to help with bags even though I was clearly struggling and it took me a long time to get to reception. Would not go again for this reason but if you have no luggage issues it's very good.
