4.8The breakfast was mostly prepackaged foods, but the automatic coffee machine actually made quite a tasty brew. The staff was friendly and tried to be helpful, although they failed to fix a broken light in our room. As Alaskans we were melting in the sweltering furnace of Venice, but we were told that it was too early in the season (May) to turn on Airconditioning. The location was excellent. It was nice to be able to easily walk to the train station with luggage, meanwhile between walking and Vaporettos, we had no trouble going everywhere. The only negative we can complain about was the noise from other visitors arriving in the middle of the night.
