The hotel has the best location in Larisa on its main square. Rooms are big but they need renovation. I thing that for the money paied its ok. The free parking is another plus.

We stayed in Larisa on our way to Mt. Olympus. We originally wanted to stay in Litohoro or Katerini, but our agent could not find accommodations for us there. Im sure in the end we saved money by staying in Larisa as I dont think many people stop there (Greeks kept asking us why we were going there).
Larisa is a smaller town, but it has beautiful and lively central plaza areas filled with cafes. Our hotel was smack in the middle of this, so it was very easy to find restaurants. Being in the middle of a 'pedestrianized' setting made the hotel really hard to find however. You have to drive your car through streets filled with people walking around (this is a little disconcerting for Canadians...we cant do that at home!)
The hotel room was average, if not a little bigger than some of the other Greek hotels we stayed at. The bathroom was bigger, but the shower was still small (like all other hotels). We had a balcony overlooking the plaza area.
If you are traveling independently, you will be happy to know that there is a large supermarket not that far away (we found it just walking around)- its outside the central, compact area and on a larger road.
It was a good hotel for a stopover
