On recommendation, we booked 5 nights directly in April 2007 and selected a room with view at 249 euro a night.
Imagine a double bed where 2 individual matresses have been put next to each other. First night, it was pretty grim to find bits in the line created by the sheet between the 2 mattresses and hair at the bottom of the bed.
Jacuzzi! Don't switch it on otherwise you'll be bathing in somebody's else skins / hair
Floor, don't go bare foot, it's not seen a proper clean for a while and if you think you are safe on the rugs (forget it).
We did have a chat to the staff and dragged one in the room to witness the state. We were treated with complete contempt and rudeness (Nobody else complains etc etc....).
We decided to checked out and did on the 2nd day. Got absolutely fleeced where they wanted us to pay for the whole stay. Anyway we had to buy our way out and they charged us 349 euro a night (100 euros more than the original price). They are THIEF
PASS THE WORD DON't GO THERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is when things go wrong that you find out how good the hotel is. They have absolutely no customer service skills.
Their mini-bar is overpriced . 25 Euros for a bottle of sparkling wine. Just go a bit further down. Hotel Marconi where you can get a room with a balcony.
