I normally do not feel obliged to write reviews like this but my family and I feel that we must warn guests of this establishment. The hotel is in a nice, quiet and secluded location with great proximity to a number of nice locations in Umbria. The rooms are nothing special (very uncomfortable beds and leaky showers and toliets) but considering the price it was okay. My family and I enjoyed the pool during our stay. Unfortunately, the pool is not exclusive to guests and local residents come to the pool, especially on the weekend. While at the pool on a Sunday, my wallet was stolen off a table. The staff had been very helpful and friendly up until this point. They were not shocked or surprised at the robbery and did nothing to help me. It was deeply disappointing as it was clear that the robbery was either by the staff or a local resident visiting the pool. In any case, their reaction led us to think that this sort of incident is not unusual. We feel that we must advise people not to stay at this location and to seek a safer alternative in the area. If you have booked a stay there and cannot get out of it, please be advised to watch your belongings carefully.
