2We stayed in a triple room june 22 to 24. The room and bathroom were as expected for Best Western: modern, clean and sufficient. But we were under the roof and the outsite temperature was high (around 30 C, 90 F): our air conditioning barely kept the room warm instead of hot. But the worst part came at night: we discovered that the hotel staff shuts of the air conditioning at 1 am: order from the hotel manager. After several hours of struggling, calling and begging for air I went to the reception and asked what was going on. They were nice but played dummy. We did get another room on the first floor accross the railway station. Needless to say that we slept very little that night. The next night I specifically asked to keep the air conditioning on but again at 1 am it was off. Which was just as good because in the course of the evening we had to put a waste basket below one airco unit as it was heavily dripping water from the ceiling: the constant drip drip was unpleasant.
I do not know who the hotel manager is but he or she is doing a terrific job at losing customers. This hotel is just too hot and not just in the rooms but in all areas. Staff is nice though and the rooms okay. What a pity!!
