Not so greatPosted: Mon, Nov 23 2009Value:
3We booked 1 double and 1 single room in this hotel close to the "Lingotto" because we had to attend some meetings there.
For a three star hotel the room (I only saw the double room) looked quite nice. It had probably been refurbished a few years ago.
The bathroom looked stunning at first sight, until one looked a bit closer. the bubble bath had e few knobs that had come off and where never repaired and there was a distinct smell of gutter.
We had a room in the back of the hotel and still the noise from traffic was very disturbing. My colleague in the single room was located at the street side and could not sleep for twoo nights.
The personnel at the reception desk where very polite and helpful, no bad word about any of them, this unfortunately does not go for the personnel at the breakfast room. They where absolutely uninterested and couldn't care less if there was something left to eat or not.
they served these mini espresso's in mini cups for breakfast. I absolutely adore these Italian espressos, but not for breakfast. When we asked for a large coffee, they gave us the same mini espresso in a large cup. Absolute nitwits. In October we'll be going back to Turin for more meetings, but we will not be staying at the Continental
