Albergo Aurora was listed in a guidebook.
It is wonderfully situated on a piazza, a few steps from a beautiful view of the ancient Roman theater and the theater itself and so many of the other sights in this city.
It is also at short distance from the large public underground parking garage and I simply rolled my luggage from the parking to the hotel.
The owners also own the Ristorante Apollinare, a few meters from the hotel. The service there was very courteous and generous.
I certainly recommend both the hotel and the restaurant and I would myself go back there. Especially since the whole town seemed to be under scaffoldings and I did not get to see much of it's architecture and of its Roman heritage.
