I don't know how anyone could write a bad review on this hotel, they must be VERY hard to please. This hotel was wonderful. Amazing views, lovely staff and excellent food. The pool area was really nice, plenty of sun loungers and they provided towels specifically for using at the pool. The rooms were spacious and very clean, the maids cleaned them on a daily basis and were really nice to talk to as well, especially Rita. The breakfast was nice, pretty plain, but it was great that they didn't provide a fry up because you would have to eat it. Think of the waistlines!! So it was nice to have a healtyh breakfast every morning. The dinners, I think were outstanding. Lots of choice for starters and mains, the pasta dishes were particularly good. The choice of 2 gateaux like cakes for dessert or strawberries and ice cream, and again even the strawberries were to die for. At lunchtime there was a really good varied menu to choose from, we usually just had pizza or ommlettes as you knew you'd be getting a huge dinner later on. Like most people, the only grumble I'd have about this hotel would be the bus service. The times are good, but its just that gap in the middle of the day thats annoying. I know that its siesta time but you are at the top of a hill with no footpath and its a bit awkward to walk. After having to pay 20 euros into the centre one day, we decided that we would walk from then on. The taxis are ridiculously expensive, even more so at night as the main street in Sorrento is closed off so the taxis have to go the long way round, So you're talking around 25 euros to get back to the hotel at night time. The last bus is at 11.15 leaving the town to go back to the hotel, not to early but not really late enough either. To make up for it, the driver, Pino is really lovely, very helpful too. All in all, I found this to be a really lovely hotel and would definitely go back again..

This hotel is amazing ! I went with my gran + grandad in may and we had a wonderful time. The Breakfast where lovely, i dont know what the others where talking about. There we diffrent kinds of fruit and paistries and yourgurt and scrambled egg and then there was lots of diffrent kinds of cereal. I really loved it , everymorning i had peach and pineapple in a natural greek yourgurt and then followed by these wonderful chocolate pastries , very bad i know ! The dinner was wonderful so much there and all so beautifully made. I think the head waitor Nino topped everything off for me, he was so kind and such a charter, he called me his grandaughter sophie(not my atual name) and tried to fix me up with every waitor there ! If you like omlets you should head down to the pool resturant , the omlets are lovely! The bus into town was wonderful , ok a little inconvineant the big time gap but with so much to do in sorrento the time would pass easily. If you really are desperate to go back or go out then walk, it looks like a steep hill but really it isnt , i did it with two 70yr olds in less than 20 mins, plus there are some wonderful photo ops on the way up/down I would certainly recomend going to pompeii and herculanum ! The trains are easy to use and the places are amazing . They are so big that sometimes you are all by your self in a big long street , wonderful , truely wonderful! I would recomend this to everyone it is a wonderful place , full of charter and charm !
