Best Western County House - Brussels, Belgium 

I have just returned from a weekend stay in Brussels. Very disappointed with this hotel.It is a nightmare trying to get a taxi to bring you into city centre which is a long way out. The cost of these taxis begins to add up over the stay too, so budget for that! My main complaint has to be the arrogant nature of the staff. Not a bit helpful and at times very rude! The hotel itself was very clean and I cannot fault the room but my stay was ruined by the staffs attitude. In the hospitality industry a smile wouldn't go amiss once in a while!

Im Hotel und den angrenzenden Gebieten wurde gebaut, was also den Lärmpegel ein wenig ansteigen ließ. Wir hatten ein normales Doppelzimmer reserviert, aber vielleicht wegen der Bau- und Renovierungsarbeiten dann eine 2-Zimmersuite bekommen. Das Personal im Hotel war sehr hilfsbereit und ich habe mich in Uccle, als wir vor vier Jahren das erste Mal dort waren, regelrecht verliebt. Das Zentrum von Brüssel oder die Hotels dort mag ich nicht so sehr, aber Uccle ist ein schönes kleines Viertel. Das Essen im nahegelegen Restaurant La Parvis ist exzellent, ich hatte sehr leckere Muscheln dort und in der Gegend gibt es auch ein paar Chokolatiere, die die beste Schokolade machen. Dieses Hotel ist ein wenig teuer, aber es ist ein schönes Hotel in einer tollen Gegend.
