Stay was two nights- Friday & Saturday.
Okay, the hotel is old and I think a lot of people are confusing old with dirty. The room was very clean. It was small and oddly shaped but who really cares? How much time are you really spending in the room anyway? The location is great, from the room you could see into Comerica Park and it was about a five minute walk to the Greektown Casino. The price for two nights plus tax was around $210, I thought that was a great deal considering the next closest rate was close to $300 a block away.
So, if you require your hotel to be new and shiny and are concerned with how many t.v. channels you get, the Milner may not be the place for you. If you are more laid back and are visiting Detroit, to see the city I think this is a great spot.
Also, the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful.
I will definitely stay here again.
