Grand Hotel Du Tonneau D'Or - Belfort, France 

Really amazing !!! This hotel was a big surprise for us. We were welcome by a great hall just like a nineteenth-century palace with a long elegant staircase. Then the rooms were wide and clean with tv, water, bathtub, hair-dryer, mini-bar, map of a city and a sweet The staff was very kind (we're lost in Belfort while arriving and by mobile they gave us the right suggestions with patience) The breakfast was good and very complete At last the price was embarrassing low for all this services. So what can you ask for more ? The only spot was Belfort... it's similar to a ghost town... beautiful city but too much human-icy

I stayed here as I went on an educational with work (I work for a tour operator). We weren't told beforehand where we were staying so I couldn't believe it when I walked into this hotel, it was amazing! The group I was with were expecting travelodge type hotels, not this! We all had our own room which again was a surprise. My room was on a corner so it was huge, and had a big double bed. I also had 2 floor to ceiling windows that looked out onto the main street. The bathroom was big and had a bath which i took advantage of! Also had continental breakfast the next morning which again was brilliant. Overall, a fantastic hotel!
