Semiramis Hotel - , Greece 

My girlfriend and I spent one week in Rhodes in July 07. We booked a standard room at this hotel and we really loved our stay. The room was quite small, but clean and with new furniture. I've added 3 photos. The towels were changed daily, however the bed sheets were changed only once during our stay. The staff was friendly, although it wouldn’t hurt if restaurant personnel would smile once in a while. And speaking of the restaurant, the food was very good with plenty of dishes to choose from. The hotel is well located: 10 minutes away (walking) from the Old Town, lots of bars and terraces nearby. Although the beach was only 100 meters away we preferred to walk 15 minutes to Elli Beach, on the other side of the town. In Rhodes the wind always blows from west to east. Therefore the sea is very agitated on the west side and the beaches there are quite dirty, while those on the east side are very clean and the water is crystal-clear.

Siamo appena tornati dal Seminaris di cui avevamo letto solo opinioni in altre lingue. Devo dire che il soggiorno è stato piacevole, le camere sono pulite e le asciugamani cambiate giornalmente; dispongono tutte di climatizzazione e tv (non satellitare però...). La vista non è granchè dato che si tratta di un edificio nella zona nuova della città, il mare è però vicinissimo (meno di 100 m) e in fin dei conti anche l'old town è a meno di 1 Km. La cena (a pranzo non funziona) è di buon livello, varia ed abbondante, prevedendo sia piatti tipici che pietanze "internazionali"; forse la colazione non continentale è un pò spartana, ma bastevole; le cameriere sono rapide ed efficienti oltre che in gran numero. I titolari ed il portiere parlano un buonissimo italiano. La piscina è forse la vera pecca: poco più che una vasca nel cemento.
