Downtown in the thick of things (great if you are in your 20's) very noisey- in local independent hotels, small, no breakfast to speak of, and not much English. It is clean, Fantastic breakfast that will keep you going until those late Roman lunches! The pool was empty when I was there (just breeding mosquitoes) The staff was friendly, but did not speak much English, and the fare to the airport was about * Euros.. Read review
