4.2Excellent location to explore ancient Rome on foot- close to the Colosseum, forums and Palatine Hill. The hotel is very convenient to the Cavour Metro stop and just one stop from the Termini. This was our second stay at Duca d'Alba and we recommend it. Hot breakfast buffet is good. Our room on this trip had a private balcony. Massimiliano was very helpful with our museum reservations. He and all the staff were very attentive. There are many good eateries on Via Leonina: the pizzeria across the street, the restaurant next door (red sliding door) has the best lasagna, but our favorite is the gelateria right next door! And there's a neighborhood grocer nearby on Via Boschetto with produce, food for snacks and water. We hope to be back soon!
