4.4We were on a 4-day family trip to Rome. The hotel Serena is located in an old building on the second and third floor in a quiet street close to Termini. From Termini there are good bus and metro connections to all parts of Rome. Otherwise, the centrum of Rome is just 30 min walking away from the hotel.
The hotel lived up to our expectations in all respects. Personnel was very friendly and helpfull and they were all good at speaking english. The rooms were very recently renovated, very clean and well maintained, although a little small. However, the size of the room was not an issue for us, as we were spending most of our time exploring Rome.
The breakfast buffet consisted of several varieties of buns (white and rye), breakfast cerials, yoghurt, cheese and ham slices, marmelade, honney and sweet rolls, fruit, juice (from syrup) and a choice of hot beverages. All very nice and tasty.
We can highly recommend Serena to anyone looking for a good value hotel for a city trip to Rome.
