Just returned from a four day break in Rome, My husband and I found this hotel to be everything we required for a short break. Staff very helpful with regard to directions and ideas for eating, drinking etc. Room was tastefully decorated, bathroom very nice, air conditioning and mini bar. Breakfast was served in a room on the same floor. (selection of hams , cheeses, croissants, bread and rolls. Tea, coffee, fruit juices and cereals were all available in abundance.) Overall we had a brilliant time and would definately return to this hotel again.

Molto buono il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Molto comoda la vicinanza alla Stazione Termini; alla metro ed alla partenza di autobus per ogni direzione. Adatto ad ogni tipo di viaggiatore. High rate relationship price/quality. The hotel is near to "Termini" railway station, to underground and bus station. Hotel SERENA caters to any kind of travellers.

The description in the booking confirmation how to reach the hotel by train is wrong in the german language. From the Via Cafour you must go left ("links" in german) to the Via Principe Amedeo, not right ("rechts" in german) as written in the booking confirmation.

We were on a 4-day family trip to Rome. The hotel Serena is located in an old building on the second and third floor in a quiet street close to Termini. From Termini there are good bus and metro connections to all parts of Rome. Otherwise, the centrum of Rome is just 30 min walking away from the hotel. The hotel lived up to our expectations in all respects. Personnel was very friendly and helpfull and they were all good at speaking english. The rooms were very recently renovated, very clean and well maintained, although a little small. However, the size of the room was not an issue for us, as we were spending most of our time exploring Rome. The breakfast buffet consisted of several varieties of buns (white and rye), breakfast cerials, yoghurt, cheese and ham slices, marmelade, honney and sweet rolls, fruit, juice (from syrup) and a choice of hot beverages. All very nice and tasty. We can highly recommend Serena to anyone looking for a good value hotel for a city trip to Rome.
