Location is excellent. the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Accommodation spotlessly clean.
Difficult to locate hotel as there is no sign outside to indicate that it is a hotel. It may not suit those who like to relax in a lobby area or reading room as neither exist. there is no bar, or dining room but of course it is beside a whole range of restaurants around the Spanish Steps area and next door to babingtons tea rooms, which are only for a treat as they are seriously overpriced.

We stayed in both Internationale Domus and the sister property Pierret Hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional. The location is spectacular - right in the historic center, walk to everything (except perhaps for restaurants - the more colorful ones seem to be in Trastevere a few euros taxi ride away). This is a rare chance to spend a night in a 15th century palace in the center of the eternal city. The minor quibbles we had were that the quadruple suite we booked, while extremely spacious, was simply a vast room with a king bed and a pull out couch plus a rollaway bed under the couch. This was fine, the kids could care less, but describing it as a suite for 4 is a bit of a stretch. Also, in line with typical Italian properties, the air conditioning was a little anemic - and to be fair we were in Rome on spectacularly hot days, so in fact the room still felt cooler than the outside anyway. I think the room we had one night in the Relais Pierret sister property (downstairs from Intl Domus) had been more recently renovated (as in last couple of years as opposed to last 7 or 8 - both rooms were very clean and efficient, no 15th centry plumbing or anything like that). It also had a tub instead of just a shower stall (easier for our young kids).

Remarkable, right next to the Spanish Steps, however, room was still very quiet. With four people room was spacious. I would stay there again and will next time I return to Rome. The experience you feel walking into the building at nite when it is full of people and you have a key to the front door, you feel just like you belong there.

We loved the Internazionale Domus in Rome

Our group of three stayed at the Internazionale Domus in Rome for two nights, 1 night at the beginning of our holiday in Italy and 1 night at the end. The hotel is in a great location about half a city block from the Spanish Steps. We had two different "triple" rooms and they were both tastefully furnished and clean. Given the area the hotel is surprisingly quiet. Service at the hotel was excellent ... we visited 3 restaurants on the advice of the staff and each one was great. The hotel organized having a driver pick us up at the airport and take us back to the airport for our return flight. The hotel also reserved a tour with a driver around Rome which was terrific especially considering our short stay in the city. We loved the hotel and staff and thought it was very good value ... highly recommended. P. Leacock Canada
