When we arrived at the hotel it was at the fourth floor of an old building that was actually not mentioned anywhere at the web site. There was an old, slow and small elevator for maximum four persons. If you have more luggage you, have to make more courses. If your choice is this this hotel it is not bad idea to start learn Italian, because the personal does not speak English (except one lady). The room was much smaller than it looked on photos. It was non-smoking but from time to time we could feel tobacco smoke getting in through the air-conditioning. In the bathroom, there was just 1 towel per person, small towels for feet and face were not included. Also, the shower cabin's door could not close to the end and the drainage of the water was extremely slow, so that one can not have a proper shower. The breakfast consisted of a minor amount of items, never including any meat or fruits. When we wanted to pay our bill with a card, the lady at the reception gave us a receipt saying that the amount in our card was insufficient. When we rang our bank they told us that the transaction was successful and the money is withdrawn by the hotel ( they told us the amount which they would not know), and one minute later there was a trial for a second transaction that failed because the amount was insufficient for it. We kindly explained to the lady what our bank is saying, supposing that a mistake has happened. She became furious and arrogant. We had to pay in cash for a second time. We will warn all friends and family going to Rome not to use this hotel.

The hotel is on the steps of the metro Bologna station and near the 62 bus which covers much of central Rome. The room and breakfast were reasonable but several small things remained broken after several reminders. Staff was pleasant though we struggled with the English
