Booked this hotel with GTA after comparing other websites for the same dates. "Superbreaks" quoted ?645, "Alpha Rooms" quoted ?527 and GTA quoted ?305. Excellent value, hotel was basic but very clean and in a central position for the station and all the major sites were easily reached. Regards, David Motherwell, Cheshire. England

The hotel was average. The rooms needed paint and the floor appeared to have not been cleaned prior to our arrival, nor did they receive any attention during our three night stay. I was given a confirmation on line for the three nights I booked and then the rate was changed for our Friday night stay by the desk clerk. I thought a confirmation locked in the rate, apparently not! It was upsetting to find they locked the motel doors at night and the desk clerk had to unlock the door to let us out the last morning when we needed to leave. Breakfast was okay. Nothing expectional!

My husband and I wanted to go to the Opera at Rome and we chose the hotel according to this. It was excellent because it is just 50 m from the theatre. The service was good. The hotel is near to the railway station too, what is convenient when arriving with luggage to this big city.

We travel around different cities in Italy but we started and ended in Rome so ended up staying in two different rooms at this Hotel. The first room was a double, it's small but very confortable, everything was clean. The shower was relatively small but we actually thought they made an excellent use of their real state. Overall it was very confortable. The second time we stayed in a triple, this room was super spacious, high ceilings, several mirrors (perfect for 3 girls!) and the bathroom was a bit dark but very cute! The staff was friendly and very helpful!! Overall I loved it! It's also centrally located, a few blocks from the train station, metro station, bus stop... and in the restaurant across the street, they have the best capuccino!!!!

The location of the hotel was great. However the hotel had an awful odor. I can't explain what the smell was but it was old & stinky. I would NOT stay again at this hotel. I think it was too pricey for what it offered. The staff wasn't the most welcoming & the breakfast was really bad. The smell alone killed it for me. Plus the bathroom sink & the shower were defective. We spent 11 days in Europe and the other hotels were great. So I had other hotels to compare & I am not picky but when a place smells that is just awful.
